CROCHET
For the last four months, Ruth Rikowski has been doing a lot
of crochet work. Her grandmother, Elsie Vickery, was very creative and skilled
regarding crochet, and Ruth has a number of examples of her grandmother’s work
– some of which we have framed and hung up in our home.
Ruth maintains that, not only does her crochet work produce
pleasing products which she can wear or display in the home, but the experience
of doing the work is soothing and relaxing whilst also stimulating her
imagination and thinking about many topics.
